The Loving Your Self Thin Method


The purpose of the LYT program is to:

  • Help you feel better about yourself
  • Guide you to a new relationship with food
  • End dieting forever
  • Discover freedom from compulsive behavior
  • Learn to deal with your emotions in a new and healthy way

The Loving Your Self Thin method is designed to help you uncover and heal the underlying emotional, and behavioral reasons for overeating and overweight. You can relearn how to eat, lose weight and live at your ideal weight without struggle or deprivation.

We use a variety of processes and techniques, including: 

  • Self-inquiry
  • Assertiveness training
  • Examining beliefs and patterns
    that keep you from having the body you want
  • Inner child dialogues
  • Ideal-self visualizations
  • The Vivation® process

You can gently discover why you have the body you have, and make changes.
As you learn to love and appreciate yourself more in many ways, you realize that you don't have to get "better" or change in any way to have what you want in your life.
Based upon these realizations, you learn to make change happen from a positive, rather than a negative standpoint.

We offer easy-to-follow, step-by-step guidelines for eating and behavior modification for those who want to learn to release their body/weight preoccupation and live at their ideal weight. By learning to accept and love yourself more, as you are now, you can move gracefully toward a lighter body size without dieting or deprivation.

You learn to recognize that negative self-talk and self-abuse do not create the desired changes and make you even more upset about yourself. 

Self-criticism creates feelings that make you want to seek comfort, often with food. On the other hand, finding ways to appreciate yourself more empowers you and creates the atmosphere for change to take place. All parts of yourself - mind, body and emotions, can then begin to create a comfortable and beautiful body, while eating the foods you love and enjoying the satisfaction of feeling fed.
